Girl with Flower

Description

Plaster bas-relief depicting a girl holding a rose. This possibly depicts “Dottie Dimple.” While the 29 November 1910 letter accompanying the sending of an assortment of 35 pieces of Elizabeth’s seventeen “best studies” to Ye Arts & Crafts Shop in Honolulu, Hawaii, refers to a “Dottie Dimple,” that piece was a “Statuete.” This copy of this bas-relief apparently was painted by one of Elizabeth’s granddaughters.
