Plaster bas-relief of girl writing. Elizabeth placed her initials “E F E” on this piece to identify her as the artist. The “E” for her married surname “Ehat” evidences this piece was created after her July 1914 marriage. She supplied no title for the piece.
The piece was broken at some point in time. Raphael Frederick Ehat used a flexible epoxy on the back surface to adhere the pieces together. It held together only barely. When Stephen Ehat 3D scanned the piece in 2024, it would not scan without removing the flexible epoxy bead of glue. He will try a different method of joining the pieces.
